On May 19th, 2024, the Selangor & Federal Territory Malayalee Association (SFTMA) organized a Mother’s Day High Tea program at RSC Dataran Merdeka, KL from 2:30pm to 6pm.
This year’s celebration was fabulously put together by our SFTMA Ladies Chair, Mrs. Latha Madhavan, and her team. It was a fun-filled day with various activities and entertainment for our ladies to participate in, such as ice-breaking activities, karaoke sessions showcasing their natural talents and a Mother’s Day slogan competition, honouring our mothers and their sacrifices. To add a little excitement, we also selected the four best-dressed ladies who came in theme. Our committee prepared lovely gifts for the winners to take home.
Our ladies enjoyed the High Tea selections, and most importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity for fellowship.
We also had the honour of celebrating Madam Valsala, VP 2 of SFTMA’s 80th birthday during our Mother’s Day event. It was a heart-warming moment that added a special touch to the day’s celebrations.
It was very lovely to see some of our very senior ladies of SFTMA participating. We also extend our thanks to the Samajam ladies’ from NSKS, PMA, and Putramas, who attended with their members.
