Rains have started and the west coast of India is currently experiencing heavy rains. This is a prelude to the oncoming harvest season which is celebrated with Onam as the finale in Kerala. We, as Marunatil Malayalees have been celebrating Onam since the 1950 under the aegis of SFTMA. Yes! Onam (Thiru Onam) (Chingam Masam) falls on Sunday 7th September 2014 and SFTMA celebrates our usual Onasadya on Sunday 21st September 2014 at the Bangunan Peladang, (Former NUPW Hall) in Old Klang Road. Petaling Jaya.
Function starts from 10.30am with cultural dances/songs. The Onasadya (more than 17 dishes) will be served from 12.00 noon to 2.00pm. Dome setting.
Therefore, please make a date with SFTMA as seats are limited. Kindly call the following persons appended below to obtain your invitation cards. The cards are at RM 30 for adults and RM 15 for children below 12 years old. All cards are table numbered.
