Varnakairali ~ Issue 2, 2015-2016

Dear Members,
This is the last issue of the Varnakairali for the year. As we bid goodbye to 2015 and welcome 2016 it is the time to reflect, review and plan for the coming year. SFTMA was officially registered in 1952 and since then has been chugging along sometimes gallantly and sometimes gingerly. As the world and the country enters the next Industrial Revolution, sometimes referred to as the Internet of Things,here in Malaysia, 1MDB and the depreciating currency took centre stage. The Malayalee Community also witnessed “The Gobal Malayalee 2015” organized by AMMA. For SFTMA, the last quarter witnessed the arrival of Onam in grand style. An Onam Sadhya and an Onam nite showcased the Malayalee in us. In fact the Onam nite was an event par excellence with the usual SFTMA stamp all over it. Read more …
