We have some good news to share from AMMA Foundation (AF). We humbly
request you to kindly circulate the information among our community members.
*1. AMMA Foundation-Taylors University Scholarship Programme*
Taylor’s University is pleased to continue our collaboration with AMMA
Foundation Community Development Fund.
Taylor’s will be pledging 3 full scholarships in the following programmes:
Foundation or Diploma plus any Degree programmes, or directly into the
Degree programmes from the following schools:
• Architecture, Building & Design
• Biosciences
• Business
• Communication
• Computing
• Design
• Education
• Engineering
• Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts
• Law
• Pharmacy
Application Deadline: 15 May 2017, Monday

*2. AMMA Foundation-Asia Metropolitan University Scholarship Programme*
We have just signed an agreement with Asia Metropolitan University (AMU) to award RM1.5m scholarships to deserving students. This is something that should be communicated immediately to all our people.
The SPM results will be announced on 16 March. Students interested in pursuing medical, physiotherapy and pharmacy courses at AMU will have to do a 1 year foundation program at the said university.. it is FREE. But those with STPM or A level results can go in straight for the degree programs. All students for the foundation and degree programs have to forward their results to AF.
Please pass this information to as many parents and students as possible. Foundation will hold a Session for all students. Eduindia and AMU reps will be there to give further details and info re the respective courses. It will be on a weekend and the date will be advised later.

*3. AMMA Foundation-VD Nair Scholarship Programme*
AMMA Foundation is proud to announce the V D Nair Scholarship Programme for
2017. The V.D. Nair Scholarship is an educational scholarship
programme *established,
administered and operated by AMMA Foundation*.
The scholarship will only be for Malaysia citizens to pursue, or who are
already pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate Degree courses in any public
or private institutions of higher education in Malaysia. Preference will be
given to Students from a plantation industry background and pursue
agricultural science, bioscience or agribusiness courses.
*COURSES FUNDED INCLUDE* :
- Agricultural Science (Plantation Management)
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- Molecular Biology
- Bio-industry Science
- Environment Technology
(**) applicable to both Undergraduate & Postgraduate Studies

*4. AMMA Foundation – High Achievers Awards*
Please be informed that AMMA Foundation will be holding its Annual High
Performers Awards presentation ceremony to recognise all high achievers of
the SPM 2015 examinations. We would like to remind you of the closing date
for submission of your nominations for the high achievers, which is *30
April 2016*. This year the Board of Directors have decided to only honour
those students who have scored a minimum of 8As and above (A- will not be
accepted)
Kindly forward the following soonest:
- A copy of SPM 2015 result slip
- A copy of student’s IC/ Mykad and photograph
- Correspondence address and contact details of student
- Number of siblings and their current status (ie employed or
studying) - Parent’s occupation
- AMMA Affiliates/Samajam details
We will inform you details of the event as soon as we have finalised the
various details.
